5/5 Stars for FINALE by Becca Fitzpatrick

Nora is more certain than ever that she is in love with Patch. Fallen angel or no, he is the one for her. Her heritage and destiny may mean they are fated to be enemies, but there is no turning her back on him. Now Nora and Patch must gather their strength to face one last, perilous trial. Old enemies return, new enemies are made, and a friend’s ultimate betrayal threatens the peace Patch and Nora so desperately want. The battle lines are drawn—but which sides are they on? And in the end, are there some obstacles even love can’t conquer?

This review was very difficult for me to write because I just finished Finale and I’m too emotional to express a professional opinion about the book. Meaning, I’m crying and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to stop. I CAN’T. *screams* *rolls on the floor, sobbing*

Okay, okay I’ll calm down. I can do it.

Finale is amazing! I couldn’t ask for a better conclusion to this perfect series that is called Hush Hush. More action, romance and heartbreak than ever before, Finale will make readers stay up all night, reading it. And then curl up in a corner, hug the books and just plainly cry.

It’s a little difficult to review this book without spoiling it but I’m willing to try. Finale started quickly with action that made my blood boil, in a good way. I was on edge the whole time waiting to see what happens. There is a lot of mystery as there was in the previous books but rules are changed now. Both Nephilim and fallen angels want to win this war and they’re willing to play dirty. Really dirty.

The romance; well, like in the 3 other books, the romance between Nora and Patch is plainly hot but there are so many times that I wanted to cry in this one because it was just so sweet and romantic. Patch and Nora’s words to each other, especially toward the end of the book – I really did cry. They were that romantic. In addition, I love that their relationship is down to earth. I mean, they have their ups and downs. They fight and lie to each other. Which is more of a proof how real their love is. They forgive each other because they cannot live without the other by their side. They’re not the perfect couple, never arguing or having a disagreement. They just love each other so much. Which is very rare in real life but it still exists.

Once again, Becca’s writing left me wanting more. It’s addictive and beautiful. The way she uses words makes you keep reading. It’s plainly wonderful.

The characters. Well, I’ve always loved all of them, especially Patch. He’s sexy and gorgeous, protective and sweet, badass and possessive. I just love the way he feels about Nora. He’d go to hell and back for her. He’d do anything for her. That’s also what Nora feels about him. Which is why I love their relationship so much. Nora in Finale is not exactly different than she used to be. She’s just a lot stronger. She’s been through so much, after all. Plus, she’s more badass and she kick some serious ass in this book. Which I enjoyed so much! The secondary characters, Vee and Scott are once again amazing. I love those two so much. They’re funny and strong and loyal and cute.

I don’t want to spoil anything but I cried so much when this particular thing happened. I DID NOT want it to happen. But Becca just wanted to rip my heart out a little more.

Hush Hush is the second YA series I’ve ever read and it helped in convincing me to read more of those. I’m so very grateful for that. I’m also so sad that Hush Hush has finished but I know that I’ll never forget this amazing series. Patch and Nora’s story will never be forgotten.

Thank you Becca Fitzpatrick for writing this amazing saga!
