Mara Dyer once believed she could run from her past.

She can’t.

She used to think her problems were all in her head.

They aren’t.

She couldn’t imagine that after everything she’s been through, the boy she loves would still be keeping secrets.

She’s wrong.

In this gripping sequel to The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, the truth evolves and choices prove deadly. What will become of Mara Dyer next?

I… I don’t know what to say, guys. I really don’t. I just finished The Evolution and I feel lost. And speechless.

I will try to review it properly, though. You know, without to much sobbing and screaming and ASDFGHJKL.

The Evolution Of Mara Dyer put me on edge since the first paragraph. Mara is yet again waking up in a hospital with no recollection of how she got there. However the situation is very different than the last time. She seems a whole lot crazier this time. Which says a lot since almost everyone pretty much thinks she’s crazy. Except she’s not. She just can do stuff and specifically kill by thinking of it. And that’s how the whole story begins.

Mystery’s in its prosperity again in this book. To be honest, the whole series is full of mystery. It’s what makes it so damned good. Well that and Noah. And Mara. And the hot romance. And Michelle’s amazing writing. Okay, okay I’ll stop rambling.

The characters are different in this book. Well actually they’re the same but we get to know them better. Both Mara and Noah are complicated. Both broken but still standing because of each other. We get to see another part of Noah in this book. More of his dark side. Even little of his POV and what it means to be Noah Shaw. Which is not as easy as it seems. I can sometimes be torturous.

I just love Mara and Noah’s relationship! It’s SO hot (and I mean H-O-T, all right) but simultaneously so sweet, honest and real. They’d anything for each other. I felt like the romance was more solid in this book, which I loved. Some scenes between Noah and Mara were just marvelous! I loved every single one of them!

And I will conclude with the ending. Obviously, it was a cliffhanger. To be completely honest, I’d call a hell of a cliffhanger. I still feel shocked over it. I loved the whole book but the last 50 pages or so made my heart beat so fast that I thought I’d faint before I even finish the book. You can’t imagine how much I mean it when I’m saying I’d do ANYTHING to have a copy of The Retribution Of Mara Dyer in my hands right now so I could start it. But life is too cruel and I have to wait until 2013.

To sum up, I’d recommend this series to anyone. Anyone who wants to read something GOOD. Mara Dyer is a must read!
