Some things are worth waiting for…

Traveling thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at the Halloween party five years ago—an event that forever changed her life. All she needs to do is make it to her classes on time, make sure the bracelet on her left wrist stays in place, not draw any attention to herself, and maybe—please God—make a few friends, because surely that would be a nice change of pace. The one thing she didn’t need and never planned on was capturing the attention of the one guy who could shatter the precarious future she’s building for herself.

Some things are worth experiencing…

Cameron Hamilton is six feet and three inches of swoon-worthy hotness, complete with a pair of striking blue eyes and a remarkable ability to make her want things she believed were irrevocably stolen from her. She knows she needs to stay away from him, but Cam is freaking everywhere, with his charm, his witty banter, and that damn dimple that’s just so… so lickable. Getting involved with him is dangerous, but when ignoring the simmering tension that sparks whenever they are around each other becomes impossible, he brings out a side of her she never knew existed.

Some things should never be kept quiet…

But when Avery starts receiving threatening emails and phone calls forcing her to face a past she wants silenced, she has no other choice but to acknowledge that someone is refusing to allow her to let go of that night when everything changed. When the devastating truth comes out, will she resurface this time with one less scar? And can Cam be there to help her or will he be dragged down with her?

And some things are worth fighting for…

WAIT FOR YOU is J. Lynn’s aka Jennifer L. Armentrout first New Adult book.  I’ve read a lot of her books before which I’m absolutely in love (Lux, anyone?) but I think this is her best work yet. And that says a lot since her books are amazing.

When Jennifer announced that sh’es publishing a New Adult ebook, I started jumping around with excitement. I just knew that it was going to be SO good. And it really is. WAIT FOR YOU is full of unexpected twists, heart-breaking, hot romance, funny and meaningful. This book makes you question a lot of things around you. It makes you realise that nothing is as it looks. That nothing is perfect. Jennifer’s ability to write beautifully along with an amazing story made WAIT FOR YOU a book that needs to be read.

I fell in love with the characters immediately. Avery is a girl with a very dark past which is full of moments of pain and dread. She used to live and be happy with her life once but what happened five years ago changed her whole being. In need to get away, she decides to go to university in West Virginia away from her life in Texas. I immediately connected with Avery. I got her. I’m not for the whole dealing face to face with my issues either so I felt connected with her and understood her reasons to do things. Avery, I believe, is a character that every girl can connect with, traumatised or not. She’s just one of those female characters that you understand, like and admire. At least, she is for me. She also changes so much throughout the books, for the better, of course. She learns to confront her problems and get past them. One seriously needs guts to admit he/she has problems to begin with. To actually act and face them is admirable and honorable.

There’s absolutely no doubt that Cameron Hamilton is one of the most amazing male leading characters in contemporary literature. Cam is everything a girl wants. Hot, funny, patient, protective, loves unconditionally and he’s going to be there when you need him. He has a dark history of his own. I love the fact that he supports Avery no matter what. He’s there for her even though she sometimes acts like a bitch. I strongly believe that one cannot not like Cam. He’s an amazing character that readers will fall in love with instantly.

The word I would use to charectirize WAIT FOR YOU is divine. It has everything. Amazing characters, a meaningful story, hot romance. It’ll keep you awake at night. I never thought Jennifer L. Armentrout’s books could get better than they already are, but she proved me wrong. WAIT FOR YOU is exquisite!
