Sorry if the site looks different lately.

I’ve decided to get my own domain and am having a bit of a revamp of the site in general.

Although, depending on how the stats go when it’s set up, that may change. I dunno, I’m an amateur with websites and such, so bear with me. I’ll still post reviews, etc, but the layout/background, etc, may change.

Hi guys,

Just a quick update to say that we’re very sorry for the slow reviews. We’re currently bogged down with books to read (and some are studying a lot for school, etc) so we are doing our best to be as quick as possible so that you’ll have something to read and have new books to enjoy.

If you have any queries or would like to submit a review, please see the email address in the right hand side of the home page and send us an email whenever you like.

Much love,

We are very pleased to be part of the cover reveal for Tara Fuller’s upcoming sequel in the Kissed By Death series:

So here you go…

Blurred - 1600px

Cash is haunted by things. Hungry, hollow things. They only leave him alone when Anaya, Heaven’s beautiful reaper, is around. Cash has always been good with girls, but Anaya isn’t like the others. She’s dead. And with his deteriorating health, Cash might soon be as well.

Anaya never breaks the rules, but the night of the fire she recognized part of Cash’s soul—and doomed him to something worse than death. Cash’s soul now resides in an expired body, making him a shadow walker—a rare, coveted being that can walk between worlds. A being creatures of the underworld would do anything to get their hands on.

The lines between life and death are blurring, and Anaya and Cash find themselves falling helplessly over the edge. Trapped in a world where the living don’t belong, can Cash make it out alive?

How pretty is this cover?

I cannot wait for this.

You can purchase BLURRED (Kissed By Death #2) from: GoodreadsAmazonBarnes & NobleThe Book Depository and many other book retailers.

About the author:

Tara Fuller writes novels. Some about grim reapers. Some about witches. All of course are delightfully full of teen angst and kissing. Tara grew up in a one stop light town in Oklahoma where once upon a time she stayed up with a flash light reading RL Stine novels and only dreamed of becoming a writer. She has a slight obsession with music and a shameless addiction for zombie fiction, Mystery Science Theater, and black and white mochas. Tara no longer lives in a one stop light town. Now she lives with her family in a slightly larger town in North Carolina where they have at least three stoplights.

There are so many epic books coming out in 2013. The list below are just SOME of the long awaited novels that we here at the Book Nerd Club, along with many other people, believe you won’t want to miss. I’ve gone up to May and will do the next half of the year soon. We’ve also included a few New Adult and Adult Fiction novels.

  •  Falling for you by Lisa Schroeder (Publisher: Simon Pulse)

  • Through The Ever Night by Veronica Rossi (Publisher: Harper Collins)

  •  Everbound (Everneath #2) by Brodi Ashton  (Publisher: HarperCollins)
  • Boundless (Unearthly #3) by Cynthia Hand  (PublisherHarperTeen)

  •  Unravel Me (Shatter Me #2) by Tahereh Mafi  (PublisherHarper Collins)

I am SO excited for this. I know Shatter Me was beyond brilliant in its idea and character development, and I am positive Tahereh will blow us away with the sequel. There’s been a novella since Shatter Me, called Destroy Me, and that gave us an insight into the mind of Warner. He’s a very tricky man and I kind of feel sorry for him…

  •  Perfect Scoundrels (Heist Society #3) by Ally Carter – (Publisher: Orchard/Hyperion Books for Children)

  • The Indigo Spell (Bloodlines #3) by Richelle Mead – (Publisher: Razorbill)
  •   Sever (The Chemical Garden #3) by Lauren DeStefano  (Publisher: Simon & Schuster Books For Young)

  • Lost Seraphine (Seraphine Trilogy #2) by KaSonndra Leigh

  • The Madness Underneath (Shades Of London #2) by Maureen Johnson (Publisher: HarperCollinsChildren’sBooks)

  •  The Redemption of Callie and Kayden (#2) by Jessica Sorensen

  •  Requiem (Delirium #3) by Lauren Oliver  (Publisher: Harper Collins)
  • Reckless (thoughtless #3) by S.C. Stephens  (Publisher: Gallery Books)

  •  Never too far (fallen too far #2) by  Abbi Glines

  • Inferno (Chronicles of Nick #4) – Sherrilyn Kenyon (Publisher: St. Martin’s Griffin)
  • Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices #3) by Cassandra Clare  (PublisherWalker Books)

I’m probably most excited for this book at the moment. I absolutely adore the Infernal Devices and all things Shadowhunter. I’m pretty sure I’m not alone in thinking this is going to be an explosive end to a phenomenal series. I look forward to seeing how it all ends and who will be with whom, because if you’ve read Clockwork Angel and Clockwork Prince, you’ll know it’s been a roller coaster ride up until now…

  • Light (Gone #6) by Michael Grant – (Publisher: Katherine Tegen Books)

  • Apollyon (Covenant #4) by  Jennifer L. Armentrout  (Publisher: Spencer Hill Press)

  • Dead Silence (The Body Finder #4) by Kimberly Derting  (Publisher: Harper Collins)
  • Walking Disaster by Jamie McGuire (Publisher: Atria Books)

  • Chosen at Nightfall (Shadow Falls #5) by C. C. Hunter  (Publisher: St. Martin’s Press)

  • Entwined with You (Crossfire #3) by Sylvia Day (Publisher: Berkley)
  • If I should Die (Revenants #3) by Amy Plum (Publisher: HarperTeen)
  • Dead Ever After (Sookie Stackhouse #13) by Charlaine Harris (Publisher: Victor Gollancz)

  • School Spirits (Hex Hall) by Rachel Hawkins (Disney Press)

  • Goddess (Starcrossed #3) by Josephine Angelini (Publisher: HarperTeen)
  • Dare You To (Pushing the Limits #2) by Katie McGarry (Publisher: Harlequin Teen)

Okay so I’m not one for notes, so I’ll make this quick. Thanks to those that are following this blog. Also, if you haven’t noticed, I’ve had to change the name of the blog slightly because there was already one of the same name, previously. And the header changed, too. You like?

Once this blog had a bit of strength to it I will be doing more to it, but for now it’s just reviews. I never expect much to happen, since I’m really only doing this site for myself and for fun. I’m happy to have Elena along for the ride, as she’s an avid reader and friend, also. So she’ll be updating where I can’t.

Well..that’s it. Thanks for reading.
